In The Kitchen

            My mother is a house wife. She always cooks and provides foods for my family. In the morning, she provides a breakfast. She boils the water to make a cup of coffee/tea, fries eggs, makes a hot chili or sometime she fries the salty fish which my father like so much. Before we have a breakfast together, I clean the house, wash the kitchen’s tools, prepare my books and take a bath before going to the school. Then, we have a breakfast together.

            In my kitchen, there are many tools : bowls, plates, glasses, frying pan, stove, tea pot, pan, knife, cups, pails, table, chairs etc.

            For the lunch and dinner, my mother cooks rice and make a soup or vegetables. Sometime I help my mother cooking in the kitchen. I pare a carrot, potato, onion etc. make a cup of coffee/tea for my families. Preparing foods for the breakfast, lunch and dinner. And after that, I help my mother washing the plates, glasses, forks, spoons and other tools. That all my activities in my kitchen

Indonesian Country is my Life

            Indonesia is my country. It has two continents and two oceans. Has many islands, there are Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Sumatera. And has two seasons : dry season and rainy season. Indonesia has a wonderful views. The sun rises and sets, many mountains (volcano mountain in Jogjakarta, Semeru, Galunggung, Tangkuban Perahu, Jaya Wijaya, Krakatau, etc), waterfalls, rivers, lakes, jungles, beaches, foggy morning and sometime we can see the rainbow.

            But now, Indonesia has far from the green and not clean. Because many people of Indonesia throw the rubbish anywhere. In the street, in the river that make it flood. The other disasters are earthquake, pollution, tsunami wave, thunder, volcano eruption, landslide ect.

            Beside that, Indonesia has many mines : copper, steel, gold, and metal that can be taken the function for our life.

            To decrease the disaster, we have to keep our country clean and plant the plants beside our house and throw the rubbish into the basket. “keep our environment clean”.

Keep Our Healthy and Beware of Drugs

            We have to provide our body with good foods and beverages. And forbidden us to consume anything intoxicating and cause us fly.

            In truth, Allah will not see the good things except He permits us to consume, will not see shame full deeds except He forbid us from taking them. This is the law of Allah. He wishes goodness foe us and doesn’t wish for our damage. He wishes usefulness for us, and not destruction. Therefore, each moslem must consume the good things, and must not approach the forbidden things likes drugs.

            Young moslem, you are the ideal of the moslems. Do not be the murderers of your selves. If you become drunks and drugs addict, Allah will certainly send a killer brigade in the form of various killing disease.

            Except drugs, the smoker o marijuana and cocaine, they will be a poor man, have heads without reason, skulls without brain, skin without beauty, hands without wealth and body without spirit.

            I think, live likes the stories above will be very uncomfortable. Let’s keep our healthy, wise word said : “Men sana in corpora sano”.

Traveling by some of Transportation

            Do you know? My hobby is traveling. I wanna go to the admiring places in this world. And of course, when I want to go to another places we have to use a transportation.

            First time, I travel by bus, when I visited Tulung Agung with my brother. He would buy a books. I was carsick. Then he bought me a drink “sprit”. So I felt nice and good.

            Six years ago, my brother was married in Tangerang. So my family and I went to my sister in law’s house by train. From my house until her house it spent 15 hours. I was tired and bored.

            When I went to Pontianak on 2005, I used a ship from Semarang. It spent a long time. it was 2 days and one night. I go home one time in one year when Feast Day came. So, when I went for the second times to Pontianak from Surabaya. Every Feast Day’s trip is very crowded. I ever sat and slept in the garage of the ship with many people beside the truck that carried the vegetables. I felt hot and dizzy. That’s all about my experiences’ traveling.

“Manis My Lovely Cat”

            I have a cat in my house. His name is “manis”, because he is so cute and sweet. His colors are black and white. Has a long tail, the black bright eyes, and fur.

            My cat is very kind. He is never make me annoyed. He is very close to me. If I sleep in my room, he always sleeps beside me. He never stole foods in the kitchen or my neighbour’s kitchen.

            Someday, when my grandmother went to the market, my cat followed her. But, my grandmother said to him : “back to the house!”. He just sat on that street and saw my grandmother went and leaved him alone. Then, he returned to the house lonely.

            My grandmother loves planting. But my cat never broke my grandmother’s plants. She plants. She plants roses, jasmines, sun flowers, etc. She and I water the flowers every morning and afternoon, and they grow well.

            Many days my cat was sick. He looked not so well. He won’t eat anything. Then, after 3 days, my cat was died. I was so sad. Hiks…hiks…hiks…

The True Religion

            Indonesia has many religions. There are Islam, Kristen, Hindu, Budha, Konghucu, etc. Many people in this country embrace Islamic religion.

            Al-Qur’an said : “Innaddiina ‘indallahil islam”. It means “the true religion besides Allah is Islam”.

            We as moslem, we have to know it. We have to worship to God Allah. The King of the King and The Lord of The World.

            Islam has five pillars, there are : witness, prayer, fasting, tithe and pilgrimage. Witness is our promise to God Allah that we believe to him and his messenger, Muhammad.

            Islam has five prayers : subuh, dzuhur, ‘ashar, maghrib and ‘isya’. And we have to obey and worship to him.

            In fasting month, we have to fast and at night do tarawih prayer and reading the holy Qur’an.

            At the night and first day of Feast Day before we pray, we have to give tithe to another people who need it.

            At last, If we can go to Mecca we can do the fifth pillar of Islam, pilgrimage.Amin.

The Good Fashion for Women

            Women have to cover their body. Except their face and arms, they have to use veil to protect and close their hair.

            But, as we known, Indonesian women influenced by the western culture. They use the short dress, without veil, too small dress and pant, and use unsuitable dress. So, where is the culture of Indonesia? Has it gone? We have to use/wear the suitable fashion with our culture. Use the long dress, veil, skirt and use stockings.

            Performance is t he first that saw by the person in this world. Then, we have to keep our fashion clean, good looking, etc.

            Why do we have to keep our performance by a good fashion? Firstly, if we use a suitable dress and good fashion, of course we will be good looking. Secondly, from our performance the people will know about polite and impolite people.

            Indonesian women think that the modernist fashion is the western culture. And they don’t know, behind the effect of western culture, they will influence the Yahudi religion in our mind. We have to be careful from this. Protect yourselves from your fashion.

Long Life Education

            Education is very important in our life. We are blind if we don’t have knowledge or science. I want to ask you, what do you prefer among religion, property/wealthy and knowledge? From my opinion, I will answer that the most important between them is knowledge. Because if we have knowledge of course the property will come to us and we can choose the good religion. Wise word said : “Person without knowledge is like an animal.”

            Our religion, Islam , has common us to study and look for the knowledge. Al-Qur’an said : Iqra’ ! It means : read!, by reading a book we can get so much knowledge. Beside we study in schools or universities, we can get  the education in our house and our society. Family is the first education. If our family is good, of course we get a good education too. And then, when we adult, we study in the university and the society. In the university we can improve our intelligent quotient and in the society we can improve our emotional quotient.

            Beside we study there, we can study at course likes SBS. In this place, we can improve our English and studying happily.

Wahyu's Home Town

My Lovely City and Home

            Do you know Reog? It’s one of my traditional culture in Ponorogo city. Reog is very wonderful. I felt disappointed when Malaysia took it and brought to their country. I love to live in my city.

            In Ponorogo city, there are many buildings. Mosques, hospitals, schools, universities, libraries etc. My city has the biggest mosque beside the square. The name is Agung Mosque. Sometime, I pray there. Because I usually pray in the mosque which near from my house.

            There are many universities in my city. Like UNMUH, STAIN, AKPER, UNMER, INSURI, DARUSSALAM UNIVERSITY, etc.

            I live in Tegalsari village. My family and I live in the small house but it’s very nice. Because it’s far from the pollution air. There are many plants and flowers in front of my house.

            My house has three bedrooms, that’s my room, my parent’s room and my brother’s room. There are kitchen, bathroom, living room, veranda, etc.

            I clean my house every morning and afternoon. Because we can live enjoy and nice. It’s my lovely house.

If I Were Be a Lecturer

            Many years ago, I graduated from my Senior High School. It was on 2005. I hoped to continue my studying to the good university likes UGM, ITB, UMY etc. But I saw that my parent couldn’t pay my studying, then I was hopeless. I decided to follow my brother in Pontianak. After two months, I didn’t do anything and I felt empty. In deep of my heart, I want to continue my studying. And to cure my heart, I decided to teach in Boarding School. It’s Khulafaur Rasyidin Islamic Boarding School. I tought there for 1 year.

            Then, I went to Tasikmalaya on 2006 of July. I still remember it. In this city, I continued my studying in university on 2008. After many years I studied there, I felt happy and I have a good future. My dream I wanna be a lecturer as my favorite lecturer, his name is Mr.Muharram Ardan, M.Pd.

            If I were a lecturer, I want to teach my student spiritly and teaching by my heart. I will share my experiences to them. I will be a lecturer in my university at Ponorogo. When I finished my studying from Siliwangi University, I will go home and teach there. I like teaching teaching because teaching is the truly of studying. By teaching you can study more and more. “Long Life Education.”
